Privacy Policy

toptalent.si is built to collect as little personal data as possible. There is no registration, no user accounts, no CV uploads. Applying for a role always happens directly on the company's own website, which this policy does not cover.

Data controller

The data controller is Alen Faljić. For any privacy questions or to exercise your rights, write to alen@alen.me.

What we collect and why

• Newsletter. If you sign up for new job alerts, we store your email address. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in the email or by writing to the address above.
• Employer submissions. If you submit a link to your careers page as an employer, we store the submitted link, your contact email, and the job details we prepare from the publicly available content of that link. The legal basis is performing the listing service.
• Apply clicks. When you click "Prijavi se", we log only an anonymous click counter for that specific job listing. We do not record who clicked, and we never link a click to an individual.
• Saved jobs. Star bookmarks are stored exclusively in your browser (localStorage) and never leave your device.

Cookies and traffic measurement

The site does not use tracking cookies and shows no cookie banner, because it doesn't need one. We measure traffic with a tool that works without cookies and collects only aggregate statistics (page views, country, device type), without identifying individual visitors or tracking across other websites.

Processors

The site relies on the following providers, who process data on our behalf:

• Netlify (site hosting and form submissions). Data may be processed in the US under applicable transfer mechanisms (the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).
• Anthropic (automatically preparing a listing preview from the publicly available content an employer submits). This processes the content of the submitted website, not job seeker data.

We do not sell your data and do not share it with anyone for advertising purposes.

Retention

• Newsletter email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
• Employer submission data is kept while the listing is active, or until the employer requests removal.
• Anonymous click counters contain no personal data and are kept indefinitely.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, its correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or portability at any time, and object to processing. Write to alen@alen.me and we will respond within 30 days at the latest. If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (www.ip-rs.si).

Changes

The date at the top of this page will be updated for any material change to this policy. Substantial changes are also emailed to newsletter subscribers.
